Janice Huckaby; Local Art, Art Supplies, Art Classes, Picture Framing; Art has been a part of Janice Huckaby all her life. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and moved to the Caribbean in 1988. As a Dive Instructor, she specialized in underwater photography. While teaching underwater photography,she took many photographs and produced videos. Over the years her work has been published in scuba diving and travel magazines. Now living in Bonaire since 1991, Janice makes use of all the underwater images to paint with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Her paintings capture the underwater scenes and landscapes of Bonaire. She also enjoys creating art with driftwood and making clay sculptures. Art classes for children and adults are also a part of her weekly schedule. Sharing her knowledge of the underwater world through art is her goal towards preserving the reef and its special inhabitants. I enjoy sharing the beauty of Bonaire through my art. It gives me great pleasure to know that someone can look at my paintings and remember Bonaire in a special way. Janice Huckaby
